Um belo dia nasceu o primo do Joãozinho, aquele famoso miúdo que passa a vida a dizer asneiras.
O prim do Joãozinho té seria bonito , não fosse um pequeno detalhe: Nasceu sem orelhas.A mãe do Joãozinho ia visitar o mais novo membro da família, mas nao queria levar o filho. Sabe-se lá o que o Joãozinho poderia dizer!Porém, não tinha com quem deixa-lo. Assim sendo, Joãozinho acabou por ir visitar o primo. A mãe avisou-o para ficar calado, caso contrárioficaria um mês de castigo. Quando chegaram a casa da tia ,o Joãozinho ficou num canto do quarto a observar o bébé. Rapidamente se apercebeu que a criança não tinha orelhas . Foi então que disse:-"Oxalá tenha bons olhos!."Todos ficaram admirados com o gesto solidário dele. Atia do Joãozinho surpreendida pela simpatca frase do miudo perguntou-lhe :
-Joãozinho, foi muito bonito o que disseste. Mas por que é que desejas que ele tenha bons olhos?
-Porque se tiver de usar óculos está lixado!

A água é um bem precioso que não se deves desperdiçar.
Se tomares duche,gastas 3 vezes menos água do que se tomares banho de imersão. Não deixes a torneira aberta:em 3 minutos pouparás 15 litros de água. No Inverno, não aqueças demasiado a casa. E não te esqueças de apagar a luz quando saíres de uma divisão da casa.

O melhor amigo do homem

Desde tempos remotos, o cão é considerado pela maioria dos criadores como o seu melhor amigo. Talvez seja, porque é uma relação recíproca, tanto da parte dos criadores como do cãozinho. Isto vale também para a pessoa que tem seu bichinho em casa.

Se bem tratado, tanto na alimentação, cuidados com a higiene , saúde e principalmente o carinho, você terá com certeza um aliado.

É muito gratificante você ver a alegria do seu cãozinho, seja lá a raça e tamanho, quando você chega em casa e ele pula, roda em sua volta, late, demonstrando que está feliz. Para quem gosta de vê-los assim, também é uma alegria, pena que algumas pessoas não têm essa consciência e muitas vezes, descuidam de seus animais, abandonam e por vezes até judiam.

Hoje em dia, graças a pessoas que se envolvem em alguns projectos, pensando na melhoria de vida desses animais, muito são resgatados das mãos daquelas pessoas que não estão nem aí com eles.

Cães que choram ou latem quando estão sozinhos em casa fazem isto por puro sofrimento, isto acontece com aqueles que passam muito tempo sozinhos. Para que eles possam aliviar o estreasse e a tensão que sentem, então procuram correr, latir, roer, cavar, pois, são animais que precisam de convívio social, ou seja, precisam da companhia de outros cães e pessoas.

Porque é facil flutiar no mar?

É maravilhoso, flutuo muito bem!

Se sabes nadar sem braçadeiras, de certeza que te apercebes que no mar o teu corpo se sente mais leve que na água da piscina. Mergulhas menos,tens que fazer menos esforço para não ires ao fundo ,é como se uma força te puxasse para a superfície. Bem, pois essa força misteriosa é..... o sal do mar!

Conheces o mar morto?

Na água salgada, como é mais densa, torna-se mais fácil flutuar do que na água doce.
E quando mais sal contiver o mar ,mais fácil é nadar sem mergulhares. Na Ásia , fronteira de um país chamado Israel e outro chamado Jordânia, existe um mar tão salgado que é impossível alguém se afogar: é o mar Morto.

D. João I punha nas portas da capital a inscrição louvando a Virgem, e erigia o convento da Batalha a Nossa Senhora, como o seu esforçado companheiro D. Nuno Alvares Pereira levantava a Santa Maria o convento do Carmo. Foi por provisão de 25 de Março do referido ano de 1646 que se mandou tomar por padroeira do reino Nossa Senhora da Conceição. Comemorando este facto cunharam-se umas medalhas de ouro de 22 quilates, com o peso de 12 oitavas, e outras semelhantes mas de prata, com o peso de uma onça, as quais foram depois admitidas por lei como moedas correntes, as de ouro por 12$000 réis e as de prata por 600 réis. Segundo diz Lopes Fernandes, na sua Memoria das medalhas, etc., consta do registo da Casa da Moeda de Lisboa, liv. 1, pag. 256, v. que António Routier foi mandado vir de França, trazendo um engenho para lavrar as ditas medalhas, as quais se tornaram excessivamente raras, e as que aquele autor numismata viu cunhadas foram as reproduzidas na mesma Casa da Moeda no tempo de D. Pedro II. Acham-se também estampadas na Historia Genealógica, tomo IV, tábua EE. A descrição é a seguinte: JOANNES IIII, D. G. PORTUGALIAE ET ALGARBIAE REX – Cruz da ordem de Cristo, e no centro as armas portuguesas. Reverso: TUTELARIS RE­GNI – Imagem de Nossa Senhora da Conceição sobre o globo e a meia lua, com a data de 1648, e; nos lados o sol, o espelho, o horto, a casa de ouro, a fonte selada e arca do santuário. O dogma da Imaculada Conceição foi definido pelo papa Pio IX em 8 de Dezembro de 1854, pela bula Ineffabilis. A instituição da ordem militar de Nossa Senhora da Conceição por D. João VI sintetiza o culto que em Portugal sempre teve essa crença antes de ser dogma. Em 8 de Dezembro de 1904 lançou-se em Lisboa solenemente a primeira pedra para um monumento comemorativo do cinquentenário da definição do dogma. Ao acto, a que assistiram as pessoas reais, patriarca e autoridades, estiveram também representadas muitas irmandades de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, de Lisboa e do país, sendo a mais antiga a da actual freguesia dos Anjos, que foi instituída em 1589.

O Natal é a solenidade cristã que celebra o nascimento de Jesus Cristo. A data para sua celebração é o dia 25 de Dezembro, pela Igreja Católica Romana e, o dia 7 de Janeiro, pela Igreja Ortodoxa.
Após a celebração anual da Páscoa, a comemoração mais venerável para a Igreja é o Natal do Senhor e suas primeiras manifestações. Ainda sendo uma festa cristã, é encarado universalmente por pessoas dos diversos credos como o dia consagrado à reunião da família, à paz, à fraternidade e à solidariedade entre os homens.
Nas línguas latinas o vocábulo Natal deriva de Natividade, ou seja, referente ao nascimento de Jesus. Em inglês o termo utilizado é Christmas, literalmente "Missa de Cristo". Já na língua alemã, é Weihnachten (pronuncia-se vainarrten) e têm o significado "Noite BendDepois de muito tempo celebrando o Natal como o nascimento de Jesus Cristo, a não muito tempo atrás o Natal surgiu como forma de aquecer o mercado consumidor num período que não havia muitas vendas, devido as festas de final de ano (hemisfério norte) ou pelas férias (hemisfério sul). Desta forma a celebração do Natal está surgindo como mais uma ferramentas de marketing, e por este motivo o foco na celebração, na festa da família e do encontro dos amigos, faz com que pessoas solitárias ou que recentemente sofreram perdas possuem uma tendência mais forte para ficarem em depressão durante o Natal.

A Lenda de S. Martinho!

Num dia muito chuvoso, S. Martinho, um valente soldado, calvagava pela montanha, até que de repente, viu um homem coberto de farrapos a gemer de frio e todo molhado. S. Martinho, vendo o estado deste decidiu, com a sua espada cortar metade da sua capa vermelha e dar-lha.Dizem que depois do feito o tempo ficou solarengo.Desde então, quando na primeira quinzena de Novembro faz sol diz o povo que é o "Verão de S. Martinho".

Twas the night before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer.

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!

"Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.

His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
